Ballad came about during a time of experimentation with paper and scoring. Inspired by origami, the fixture’s shape utilized the scoring of poly-backed Belgian Linen and stapling. Inside, a 2700K LED strip sitting on a custom aluminum heat sink illuminates the shade. This fixture provides a soft ambient glow while still providing enough light to go about your day in a room not heavily lit by sunlight. The scallops on the front of the light give it structure and depth while still allowing for it to blend in and be unobtrusive.
