Lahm 06 Sconce

Product Design / Creative Direction

Lahm 06 was born from a simple box made in a search for a top closure to another light. This fixture is a prime example of a continued search for the relatable and simple. While it is, in essence, a box… there’s more to it than that. The inset face allows for a depth change and adds a slight shadow to the side giving the sides depth as well. The poly-backed Belgian linen was scored and stapled to create the shade’s structure. The back tabs were then sandwiched between 2 acrylic plates that had magnets allowing for easy install to the galvanized wall plate. LAHM 06 was the first in a collection of 4 lights all with the same concept that are still being sold in a 3d Printed form.
